What Is Steel Liner?
Do you have a dark shop that could use some brightening up? Or maybe a barn that’s started to show signs of rot or warping? A speciality option from Forma Steel that could be of huge benefit to you is steel liner, available in one of our two colours, Bright White and White White.
Liner is a cost-effective finishing designed for interior panels. It is less weather resistant than our standard colours and finishes, which is why it’s use is primarily for indoors, but it still is far more durable than wood, vinyl, or drywall.

What Are The Available Liner Options?
Currently, our liner is available in Bright White in 26 Gauge and 29 gauge, and White White in 26 gauge.
There are several profiles which work perfectly with this option. Our two first panels we ever manufactured, I/9 and II/6, work great as an indoor liner solution. Our most popular panel, FC-36, is also an option for a slightly more modern look.

What Are The Primary Benefits?
Liner is a tremendous way to brighten up your workspace, shed, or barn. The base metal is galvanized, and there’s a polyester coating over the paint, which attracts and reflects light in a very robust way. This will improve the aesthetics and overall feel of your interiors.
The durability and longevity with steel is, of course, the other primary factor as well. Even with an interior space, moisture, rot, pests, and standard impacts can severely damage wood or drywall. With steel liner, you can enjoy the comfort of your shop or barn far longer, as fires, floods, or even birds will not cause any noticeable damage.
Steel liner is also much easier to install and maintain than something like traditional dry wall. There’s no mudding, taping, or on-site painting to deal with, and whenever you want to clean it up, just spray it with some water without having to worry about condensation or moisture issues.
